It's OK

It's ok....
that I had an interview yesterday.....I do not dress like this except for interviews and I had absolutely nothing to wear.  Luckily Kim helped me come up with this.
Nothing too fancy, but it got the job done.
and I have another interview next Wednesday!

that I took the kids to the dam yesterday, but it was too hot to stay longer than 20 minutes.
(I'm a summer nanny...for those of you who don't know)
Next time, I'll go prepared with my bathing suit on too!
It's such a fun place to go!!
that even though I don't have a baby, I'm loving this little onsie.

that I have 3 different beach trips scheduled over the next month-ish!
Can you ever really spend too much time at the beach?
that it's almost the weekend...and I have big plans!
Happy Thursday lovelies!

Wednesday Loves: Sponsor Edition

Elizabeth from Fearless and Frugal

{About Me} Hey everyone! My name is Elizabeth and I’m a 20-something recent college grad getting ready to start grad school. I love writing, trying new things and saving money (who doesn’t, right?) I’m obsessed with organizing, drinking coffee and listening to country music. I have a newfound love for the outdoors, old movies, crafting and cooking. I’m a yoga enthusiast and have just recently started Pilates (which I love!).

{About My Blog} After the summer of 2011 I found myself with an overwhelming number of credits to take my final year of college so I had to quit my job of 2+ years. Although I had spent my entire summer working and taking classes, I still found time to shop, vacation and spend way too much money. At the end of the summer I was hit with a wake up call -- despite all the hours I had put in at work, my bank account was devastatingly low. I realized I couldn't spend like I had been any longer.

Now I’m finding it more important than ever to save money. I thought that by starting my blog, I could share my tips and tricks I've developed and learned along the way to help others who were living on a budget, or just trying to save a buck or two here and there! I am by no means an expert (I'm studying history and then going on to grad school to be a teacher), but I have developed and adapted a lot of tricks that work for me. I also want to offer a few health, beauty, fitness and other tips as well! Come visit me at Fearless & Frugal! :)

Maylong, Hailey, and Shian from Southern Flair

Hey! We are Maylon, Hailey, and Shian and we blog over at Southern Flair. We are three best friends living our life to the fullest in the sunny South. As highschool girls, the smallest things make us laugh, cry, and sometimes shock us. We are determined to always be here for each other and have plenty of adventures under the mason-dixon line! We are new to the blogging world but love sharing our love of  fitness, fashion, food, and our faith. We love Jesus with all our hearts and want to be a light for him. "Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman that fears the Lord shall be praised" Proverbs 31:30."  So come to visit our blog, we would love to have you! "Southern girls are God's gift to the entire male population. There is absolutely no woman finer than one raised below the mason-dixon line and once you go southern may the good Lord help you -- you never go back." Kenny Chesney.

Check these ladies out!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

I spent the Memorial Day weekend in North Alabama for the Alabama Jubilee-Hot Air Balloon Festival.  I spent time with my sister, Colin, Eli (brother-in-law) and his family.  I am good friends with his sister and I've known his family for several years so I just felt like part of the family.
We drove up Friday afternoon.  We spent from about 9-5 every single day at the pool and Friday night we went to the Alabam Jubilee.

Chill out this little guy!
I had my Sonic Vanilla yummy!

Before my tan/burn.
Loved seeing all of the balloons.

High Five for Friday

Hallelujah for Friday and the official first day of summer break!!!!!
I'm linking up for High Five for Friday to share my 5 faves from the week.
Quality time with these awesome kiddos.
I babysat them on Wednesday night while their parents went to graduation.
We had a great time playing at McDonalds, making s'mores, watching a movie, and cuddling.
We watched Nanny McPhee idea.
I loved the first one so I was so excited to watch the second.  It was really cute.

Yesterday was the last day of school......Summer break...holla!!!!!

Yesterday was also the day that this little bundle of joy was born.
Welcome Makenzie Brooke, my new baby niece.
My sister and I spent over an hour in Target trying to pick out some gifts.
I love shopping for babies....we got this idea from Pinterest.
We wrapped the gifts in blankets.
We bought a book as the card.
I think it turned out pretty awesome.

I got a new car!!!!!!!!!!

I'm heading out today for the long holiday weekend.
I'm so excited to spend the weekend laying by the pool and going to the hot air balloon festival!!
