Yoga Sunday

So, it has been a wonderful weekend, but I hate that it is coming to an end. Friday night, Heather, Eric, Kelley, and I just hung out at mine and Heather's house. We attempted to go out to a new piano bar in town, but there was absolutely no parking so we just came back home and watched Good Luck Chuck. Saturday Kelley and I slept in and then ran some errands. We had lunch at Honeybaked Ham, which is his absolute favorite place in T-town.
Saturday night, I babysat these two cuties:

Hayden (left) and Kenley (right)

I got home around 11 and Kelley, Heather, and Eric were ready to go out. It was a little of a surprise to me; I would have been just as happy staying home. Although we had bad luck the night before with parking, we decided to try downtown again. We ended up going to Coppertop because we knew someone who worked there.

We just sat outside and had a few drinks...it was really nice out.
Here are a few pictures of me and my love before we went out.

Today, we were all very lazy. Heather and I did some school work, while the boys watched football. Heather and I also went to a yoga class. Pretty interesting.

We did some of this...
and this...
and this.
This is where it gets interesting.
We attempted this...
and this.
Let's just say that when I was attempting the last pose, I ended up flat on my back. I couldn't help but laugh at my lack of balance.

I have done yoga before, but it has been a couple of years. It is really relaxing, which I love.

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.

XoXo

Randomness

Here are promised pics from Rosemary Beach! It was a wonderful week despite the amount of rain we got.

This is the beach front side of the main house (Bahama Mama). Absolutely gorgeous!

This is inside of the guest house (Banana Cabana) where Heather and I stayed.

This is a picture of the neighborhood. These houses were ridiculous!

This is another view of the inside of the guest house. I love the colors!

This is Heather, Hayden, and me on the balcony.

Miss Kenley being silly playing in the sand.
This is Miss Reanne. I miss her so much! She was asking so politely for something.

Heather and me sipping on sodas watching Twilight on our last night!

4 of the 5 girls. L to R: Amelia, Kenley, Reanne, and Hayden!

Heather and me on the beach! The day my stomach got roasted!

View from the balcony!

All 5 girls. L to R: Amelia, Hayden, Alexa, Reanne, and Kenley.

This is Hayden and Kenley entertaining everyone.

Me, Kenley, and Hayden. I love these girls.

I am so thankful for the families that made it possible for me to go spend a week at the beach and not spend a dime. It was awesome!

Today was a great day. I woke up around 8 and immediately turned on Golden Girls. I unpacked all of my things. Yes I have basically been living out of my car for the past month. I have been in and out of town so much that there was no point in unpacking. It was nice to finally say that I have a place to lay my head. I will be living with my sister and her husband this summer. I am really excited. I am going to be a nanny and my work will be right down the road from my sister's house. I have nannied for this little girl before, and I am so excited about starting next week. She is the sweetest thing. She is 8 and her name is Alli.
This is a picture from last summer of Alli, me, and LK.

Once I finally got all of my stuff out of my car, I showered and got ready to go to my interview. It was an interview for childcare one day a week and on the occasional date night. I was amazed when I reached their neighborhood at how nice it was. I met the mother of the 2 children that i will be keeping and it went very well. She has 2 children ages 11 months and 2 1/2. It will be nice to have a change of pace one day a week. Alli will also enjoy having other kids to play with.
After my interview, I went and had Subway. I told you guys I was addicted. Then I headed to my chiropractor appointment. It was my 3rd visit and I can feel an improvement in the way my back feels. It's like I have a brand new back. It's really exciting. I only have like 3 more visits and hopefully I will be able to keep up the stretching to strengthen my spine so that I won't have to go see the chiropractor anymore. If anyone is a little hesitant about seeing a chiropractor, don't be. They really do work. I go to Hug Chiropractic in Cahaba Heights. Here is the link if anyone is interested. I definitely recommend it.

After my appointment, I headed to Stephen's. I have an orthodontist appt. tomorrow so it makes sense for me to stay at his place in Birmingham tonight. Once I got to his place, I put on my bathing suit and decided to go do some reading out by the pool. (He was still at work.) I read for about an hour and then fell asleep. I got in a nice nap and got a tan at the same time. It was nice and relaxing.

Stephen got home around 5:30 so we decided to go get some dinner. I suggested my other favorite food. Chinese! We went to Brookwood Mall and had Manchu Wok

It was a nice evening. Now I am watching Golden Girls and getting ready to go to bed.
