Blessed day

Today was an awesome day. I began my day by watching Golden Girls from 8-9. Highlight of every morning. Then I went to get my niece (LK) from daycare. Let me just add how excited she was to see me. It almost brought tears to my eyes. We then went to two of my favorite places: Target and Victoria Secret. Last week while I was at the beach, I purchased the Twilight Saga books. I paid $62 for the 4 of them and then found them online at Books-A-Million for $45. I decided to return the ones I bought at Target and go for the cheaper box set from BAM. So with my store credit for Target, I bought some black skinny jeans (which I have been wanting for a while for only $10, some new mascara, and smooth away.

I can't really say how satisfied I am just yet, but I think I will be pretty happy about my purchase. I have heard it works. I will keep everyone posted.

After spending the morning shopping, I met up with my sister, Jenn (LK's mom), for lunch at Bogue's. It was my first time eating there, but I am always up for veggies. Here is a pic of LK at lunch chewing on a lemon. She loved it.

Funniest thing ever!!

My evening was spent babysitting baby Indira. She is absolutely precious. I can't ask for a better job then getting to sit on a front porch swing and rocking a baby for hours.

Here is a picture of Indira sleeping.

And here is one of me holding her...

I could spend every day like this.

I will soon be posting pics from my beach trip and Memorial Day....having trouble with Blogger tonight. Stay tuned.

1 year already

So I didn't get a chance to update yesterday, but it was my precious niece Londyn Kate's 1st birthday. She is a very special girl and I cannot believe that it has been a year since her arrival on this Earth. She was very tiny at birth weighing in at only 4 lbs. and 15 oz., but has since made up for the loss and is quiet the chunker.

Here she is one year ago....

The first time I got to hold her because of her NICU stay at the hospital.

.... and here are some pics from our day together at the park one year later....

I have to sneak one in of the both of us (ignore the way I look).

Here is one of LK and her lucky mommy (my wonderful sis) who has been blessed with such a beautiful, healthy baby girl!!
As if the pictures didn't already make this obvious, I had a fabulous day with my precious angel! I always enjoy the days I get to spend with her.

That is all for today, but I'll update again soon!

I have to prepare myself for the finalists on American Idol!

Love!

Summer officially begins!

So I am officially summer bound! I took my last 2 finals today and I am so thrilled to be finished. This will be the first summer in a while that I have not taken classes.

The past few days have been awesome. A very dear friend of mine, Sara, has been visiting along with her adorable son, Parker. They have been staying with me and I have really enjoyed catching up on lost time. She moved to Maryland in January and is only here for graduation. The past few days have really reminded me of why we were such great friends. She is awesome! Here is a picture of me and baby Parker. Absolutely precious!!! Also a picture of mama Sara and son Parker from when he was teeny!

Anyways it is getting late and I have to babysit at 6 AM. It is going to be here before I know it. Goodnight! :)
