Dinner and a movie

Here is an update on the rest of my day.
Here is Kelley being in lots of pain.
Here is Alli chillin' watching Saved by the Bell.
Around lunch time, Bekah, Carter, and Cooper came by to hang out during Halle's play date. We had lunch and let the kids play for a little while. Ryan and Carter are 3 days apart and are fun to watch. Alli loved playing with Cooper. She is so funny.
Cooper turning the direct tv off. He thought it was the funniest thing ever!!
Coop laughing at the black screen that he caused.
Carter blocking the tv from Cooper.
Carter and Ryan playing together.

At 3, I dropped Alli off at her swimming lessons and took Ryan to the park around the corned until his began at 3:30. We played for a little while and even had pretend ice cream (wish it would have been the real thing). Courtney, Alli and Ryan's mom, met me at the park and took Ryan to his lesson.

I decided to go get a movie from the $1 rental box (my favorite because I am obsessed with watching movies). I also decided to get stuff to cook dinner. I got back to Kim's around 5 and began marinating the chicken breasts in italian dressing...mmm! I cleaned up and then sat down to relax with Stephen, who was feeling a little better after having ice on his "break" most of the day.

Around 6, I began cooking and watched the first half of last week's episode of The Bachelorette. It is amazing for those of you who don't watch it. I have a select few who are my absolute favorites...Michael, Jake, and Robby. My not so favorites are JUAN, Wes, and David. I am sad to admit that I don't like David anymore because he was one of my favorites at the beginning. He just has too much built up anger in my opinion.

I didn't get to finish the whole episode because around 6:40 I had to start the rice and green beans. I don't cook often because of lack of time, but I really enjoy it when I get the chance. Dinner was amazing and was followed by an amazing movie. Stephen and I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button....it was excellant. I cried of course, but I am beginning to think that I can't watch anything without crying.

Now I am watching Golden Girls and getting ready for bed. I have a busy day tomorrow.

Night!

Loving Life

Today was a wonderful day! I woke up around 8 and immediately turned on Golden Girls. Yes, I go to bed watching it and wake up watching it. 4 episodes come on between 8 and 10. So needless to say, I stayed in bed until about 10!! I guess I am taking advantage my last week of unemployment. Finally at 10 I got up and started getting dressed for the library. My sister in law, Rebekah, and I had planned on taking the kids (Halle, Carter, and Cooper) to the library for a magician at 11 and crafts at 2. The magician was lots of fun and even I thoroughly enjoyed it. After the magician finished at 12, Bekah and I took the kids and had lunch at Habinaros (Mexican is one of my other addictions). We then returned to the library at 2 to make monkey magnets. They turned out really cute.

I left the library and went to Kim's (my sister whose house I am living at this summer). I was really exhausted for some reason. I guess the library wore me out. I pulled out my computer and turned on Golden Girls. It comes on in the evenings too. I mostly just had it as background noise as I read blog updates and checked my email.

Nothing too excited happened until Eli, Kim's husband, got home and they treated me to dinner at The Depot in Helena. It is a nice little place that has hamburgers, hotdogs, corndogs, and french fries. I guess you could call it ballpark food. I grew up at the ballpark so I am a big fan of this kind of stuff. It was so good and we just got back home and are about to watch Seven Pounds. I will let everyone know how it is. I have heard nothing but good things although it is going to be sad.

These are pictures of Halle, Carter, Cooper, and Londyn Kate from the zoo on Monday. I finally got them uploaded.
This is Halle and Carter after they spent literally 2 seconds in the water part of the zoo. They were freezing.

The llama was getting a haircut. I thought it was so cute!

Well that is it for tonight! I hope you guys had a great day! Thanks for checkin' in.

Randomness

Here are promised pics from Rosemary Beach! It was a wonderful week despite the amount of rain we got.

This is the beach front side of the main house (Bahama Mama). Absolutely gorgeous!

This is inside of the guest house (Banana Cabana) where Heather and I stayed.

Me, Kenley, and Hayden. I love these girls.

I am so thankful for the families that made it possible for me to go spend a week at the beach and not spend a dime. It was awesome!

Today was a great day. I woke up around 8 and immediately turned on Golden Girls. I unpacked all of my things. Yes I have basically been living out of my car for the past month. I have been in and out of town so much that there was no point in unpacking. It was nice to finally say that I have a place to lay my head. I will be living with my sister and her husband this summer. I am really excited. I am going to be a nanny and my work will be right down the road from my sister's house. I have nannied for this little girl before, and I am so excited about starting next week. She is the sweetest thing. She is 8 and her name is Alli.
This is a picture from last summer of Alli, me, and LK.

Once I finally got all of my stuff out of my car, I showered and got ready to go to my interview. It was an interview for childcare one day a week and on the occasional date night. I was amazed when I reached their neighborhood at how nice it was. I met the mother of the 2 children that i will be keeping and it went very well. She has 2 children ages 11 months and 2 1/2. It will be nice to have a change of pace one day a week. Alli will also enjoy having other kids to play with.
After my interview, I went and had Subway. I told you guys I was addicted. Then I headed to my chiropractor appointment. It was my 3rd visit and I can feel an improvement in the way my back feels. It's like I have a brand new back. It's really exciting. I only have like 3 more visits and hopefully I will be able to keep up the stretching to strengthen my spine so that I won't have to go see the chiropractor anymore. If anyone is a little hesitant about seeing a chiropractor, don't be. They really do work. I go to Hug Chiropractic in Cahaba Heights. Here is the link if anyone is interested. I definitely recommend it.

After my appointment, I headed to Stephen's. I have an orthodontist appt. tomorrow so it makes sense for me to stay at his place in Birmingham tonight. Once I got to his place, I put on my bathing suit and decided to go do some reading out by the pool. (He was still at work.) I read for about an hour and then fell asleep. I got in a nice nap and got a tan at the same time. It was nice and relaxing.

Stephen got home around 5:30 so we decided to go get some dinner. I suggested my other favorite food. Chinese! We went to Brookwood Mall and had Manchu Wok

It was a nice evening. Now I am watching Golden Girls and getting ready to go to bed.

Blessed day

Today was an awesome day. I began my day by watching Golden Girls from 8-9. Highlight of every morning. Then I went to get my niece (LK) from daycare. Let me just add how excited she was to see me. It almost brought tears to my eyes. We then went to two of my favorite places: Target and Victoria Secret. Last week while I was at the beach, I purchased the Twilight Saga books. I paid $62 for the 4 of them and then found them online at Books-A-Million for $45. I decided to return the ones I bought at Target and go for the cheaper box set from BAM. So with my store credit for Target, I bought some black skinny jeans (which I have been wanting for a while for only $10, some new mascara, and smooth away.

I can't really say how satisfied I am just yet, but I think I will be pretty happy about my purchase. I have heard it works. I will keep everyone posted.

After spending the morning shopping, I met up with my sister, Jenn (LK's mom), for lunch at Bogue's. It was my first time eating there, but I am always up for veggies. Here is a pic of LK at lunch chewing on a lemon. She loved it.

Funniest thing ever!!

My evening was spent babysitting baby Indira. She is absolutely precious. I can't ask for a better job then getting to sit on a front porch swing and rocking a baby for hours.

Here is a picture of Indira sleeping.

And here is one of me holding her...

I could spend every day like this.

I will soon be posting pics from my beach trip and Memorial Day....having trouble with Blogger tonight. Stay tuned.
