It's OK...

To have an off day.

I'm happy 99% of the time, but last night I was bummed for no apparent reason. I think it's ok and pretty normal to feel this way every once in a while. The important thing is that I eventually snap out of it and remember how lucky I am to have food, water, shelter, clothing, and much much more.

Do any of you have these kind of days?

I'm sure someone out there is having one today so here is some inspiration...

It's so easy to get caught up in the stresses of every day life and forget how fortunate we really are.

The kids were home from school Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to snow and ice. We all had so much fun at the house. We spent our days

Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful that tomorrow is Friday!! This week has been fun-filled, but also very exhausting. Starting this past Monday, after getting off from keeping Alli at 3:30, I go babysit Indira until 7 or 7:30. Here are some pictures from the day at the zoo and keeping Indira.

Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for my health and for my family!!

Appt. #1

This morning was full of productivity. I woke up at 7:30 to take a shower and get ready for my appointments (yes multiple). I had an orthodontist appointment at 9 (5 months overdue), but received good news that I have finally graduated. That means I don't have to go back unless I have any problems in the future. That is great news.

Appt #2

I left there and headed to the chiropractor. I had an appointment at 10:30. I have some minor back pain that I am trying to get "fixed". So far so good. I love them and would recommend them to anyone having any kind of back, neck, or jaw pain. I am pretty sure they even have some things they do for headaches. I am very pleased with the treatment that I have received.

Appt #3

So I left there and headed to have a physical with my general doctor. I haven't had one in years and decided it was time. I also had a few other concerns to discuss. The good news is that he believes my stomach pain is stemming from either acid-reflux or gallstones, both treatable conditions. I have to go get an ultrasound done of my gallbladder to check for gallstones. I guess if that comes back negative, then my pain is caused by acid-reflux. I have to schedule an appt in the next week or so to have the ultrasound done.

After my third and final appt, I decided to go back to Kelley's and do some surprise cleaning. His place really needed some cleaning and I was off work today so I thought I would be nice.

Jenn came by for a surprise visit and brought Londyn Kate and Serina. Here are some pictures from the day.
