Wednesday Loves

Happy Wednesday!!!!
Holy crap...it's the last day of school!!!!  Bring it on summer!!!!!!
I'm beyond ready!

I'm still playing mommy in my mini van!  I'm also super proud of my productivity this week.  Picking kids up from school,  playing either outside/mcdonalds play place for about 45 minutes, cooking dinner, getting them fed and bathed and reading with them/entertaining with no tv until 6 (when their dad gets home) and then still making it to the gym.
Pretty impressive if I do say so myself.  Considering how well I know myself...it's the perfect circumstances for my excuses not to go to the gym to kick in.

I've got my office completely cleaned and ready for summer and progress reports completed.  So I'm happy to say that I'll be spending my last day with kiddos...carefree and enjoying their company for the last time.  :(.
It's a bittersweet feeling.

I'm loving the skirt that I found for my sister at Ross....it was only $6.99.
 And by found for my sister, I kind of mean found for me too! ;)

I love this sweet pic of my youngest niece and nephew....and today is the last day that they will be the youngest.  My little sister is being induced tomorrow with her little baby girl, Makenzie!
My family sure knows how to make some cute babies!!  Agreed?

As always, I'm loving Pinterest.

I'm going to a Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend...I can't wait!!!
 I would never leave my room.
 I'm obsessed!!!!!
 Just because I'm currently living vicariously through these characters....

 I'm kind of loving her as Tris!!
What do you guys think??

I hope you all have a fabulous hump day!!

Write random and link up!!

::Pinterest Party::
was a success as always!

For this particular craft party, jewelry making was a popular theme.
Hair Ties made from baby headbands.
(Hobby Lobby or Dollar General)
Clay bangles.
(Colored Clay from Hobby Lobby)
Washer Necklace
 (Washers from Lowe's, Ribbon and Metallic Spray Paint from Hobby Lobby)
Chandelier Necklace
(Gold Chain, Hooks, and Paint from Hobby Lobby)
Wrap Bracelets 4
(Gold Chain from Michaels, Hooks from Hobby Lobby, and Suede Cord from Michaels)
I love black and gold together so I plan on getiting lots of use out of my new washer necklace and wrap bracelet.  :)

::Recipes::
Along with crafts, we try to make new recipes from Pinterest to bring to our parties.
We had some amazing food this time around.
I made little bite-size S'mores that were delicious.
We also had...
Talk about a yummy spread!!

::Relay for Life::
Our Relay for Life event was Friday night.  It was so rewarding seeing all of our hard work come together.  My team had a pretty good turnout and we raised a lot of money.  We had pizza and balloons donated to sell and I had also had T-shirts made.  My sister and I did face painting and we also had cornhole.  Our community raised close to $30,000.
This was a cause near and dear to my particular school because we have had a couple of teachers with cancer this school year and we also have a third grader that had cancer this year.
It was really amazing what this little girl's classmates raised in honor or her.
::School::
I cannot believe that there are only 4 more Monday's of school before summer break.
May will be a busy, busy month.  There is something going on every weekend, including tons of IEP meetins and transition meetings.  I think I can, I think I can.
::Books::
I finished the first 50 Shades of Grey...OMG so good!
Someone instagramed this picture the other day saying that he would make a good Christian Grey and OMG I couldn't agree more.
I started 50 Shades Darker Saturday night.
To come...
50 Shades Freed
The Fame Game
Insurgent
There are so many great books out right now!!
Speaking of, I am going to get in bed and read right now.
Happy Monday lovelies!

WILW and Bucket List

I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW.

{The HELP}
I'm loving that I finally started THE HELP.
I've been dying to read it, but it has been hard to find the time.
Now that Christmas break is upon us, I will have some much needed down time.
I can't wait to see the movie.
{New Orleans}
I'm loving that New Orleans round 2 is just around the corner.
I'm taking a trip for New Years and I'm so excited!
{Travel by train}
I'm also loving that I am taking the train to NOLA...
something else I get to check off of my 101 in 1001.
Love checking things off!

 {Winter Bucket List}
I am loving this idea I found on Pinterest.
I'm so determined to do all of these things this winter.
Things I've done:

I have a lot left to do...
We will see!

Dear "my day"

 Write random and link up.
{Breaking Dawn}
Girl's night was a succes!
Breaking Dawn was amazing, as expected.
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

I also bought the sound track yesterday.  Yes, I have been listening to it on repeat.

I think this might be my favorite song, but it might have a little to do with this video that I found on YouTube.
My mom was a little late jumping on the bandwagon so she just finished reading all of the books and watched the first movie.
I am taking the first 3 DVD's home with me for Thanksgiving so mom and I can have a catch up session.
Hopefully we can find the time to go to see Breaking Dawn.
I've been trying to figure out a way to go see it again.  #ACCOMPLISHED

{Books}
I finally had time to read and finish this book this weekend.
I literally read all day Saturday.
I loved it, but I cried like a baby.
Coral kept giving me these concerned looks...it was so sweet.

A few of my friends have read the Stephanie Plum series and highly recommended it.
I was able to download the first 9 from my friend's Kindle.
 There are 17 available now and the 18th gets released on Tuesday.

Oh my, can we say I will have my hands full over Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

{Christmas Decor}
I started putting up Christmas stuff this weekend.
I bought a pewter tree from Target and did some whimsical type ornaments.
The pictures really don't do it justice.
I also want to get some more decorations for it, but for now this is what I've got.

{Boots}
I finally got me some new boots.  My favorite pair of camel boots got chewed a bit by precious little Coral.
Yes, I was mad at her, but I really needed a new pair anyways.
I love them and I will probably wear them everyday of my life...until Coral gets a hold of them.

{New York}
While getting out Christmas stuff today, we came across all of my sister's Christmas cards from the past years.  We saw the idea of making a book out of them for the coffee table.
We were organizing them, and I found my Christmas card from last year.

I had just moved to NEW YORK.
I got to thinking about how much I miss NY.
I love being back in Alabama with my family, but miss having my own place.
I miss all of my friends in NY and I miss the life I had for myself while I was there.
Anyways, I am so thankful for the experience that I had, but I am happy to be back home close to my friends and family.
I will plan a visit, freeze my butt off, and then be so thankful to not live there anymore.
{Happy Mingling}

I know I've shared this before, but it makes me happy so here it is again.
Happy Monday.
XoXo
