Oh, HELLO WORLD and Classroom Reveal

I literally feel like I've fallen off the planet.  I started grad school in May and my life has been a whirlwind ever since.  

Teaching full time and going to school full time should be interesting, but I'm excited about both.

I've spent countless hours moving into my new classroom and setting it up so I wanted to share picture of the finished product.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.  There is still some work to do, but overall it's ready for my students.

While I was school shopping, they were doing free hair chalking.  I'd tried this with just regular sidewalk chalk, but you have to use pastels.  I love this!

Last weekend, a few friends grilled out and played mini frisbee golf....so much fun!!

Procrastination

So.....here I am 14 days until summer break and am slowly, but surely losing my motivation. I am trying to study for a huge test that I have tomorrow and can't seem to get it together. The good news is that after my test, I get to go see my bf. My little sister, Blaine, and I are going to spend the day together. We are planning on renting Twilight and just relaxing by the pool (if the weather permits).

Thursday is the day that I have been looking forward to for a few weeks now. One of my very best friends is coming down for the weekend and I am picking her up from the airport on Thursday. This Saturday is the A-DAY game so it will be alot of fun for us to get to hang out like old times. This is a picture of us when we had her going away party.

I miss her dearly, but we have 4 days this weekend to make up for lost time.

I know I have been slacking majorly on my blogging, but I promise to do better.
