Wordless Wednesday

I am leaving for Indiana first thing in the morning so I will be MIA for a few days. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Wonderful Wednesday

Today was a good day. I woke up around 6:30...why? I have no idea!!!

I found out at 8 that I was supposed to be in Pelham at 9 so I hurried and got ready and headed that way. I got there at 9 and hung out with the kiddos for a little while. Brooks went down for a nap around 10 so Olivia and I colored and had a snack.

The jeans pictured were my fabulous find from a few weeks ago.

They are Chip and Pepper brand which usually runs between $100-$200.

I paid $9.

Once Brooks woke up, we took a trip downstairs (playroom) and watched Annie.

I have a doctor's appt in Birmingham tomorrow, Thursday, so I decided to stay at Kelley's tonight so I wouldn't have to wake up as early in the morning.

He got off work about the time I was passing the summit, so we got to his place at about the same time. We headed to the grocery store to get a few things. We decided to have breakfast for dinner, so I cooked biscuits, cheese eggs, and bacon. It was delicious!

Busy Busy

So today was a pretty busy day.

At 7:30, I picked Alli up and we began our day.

We started off at McDonalds....so unhealthy I know, but one of my indulgences.

We went back to Kim's to eat and check on Kelley before we headed to Pelham for the day.

We left Kim's around 8:15 to go babysit Olivia and Brooks.

I know I have already told you guys this, but their neighborhood is amazing. If it wasn't so far away from everything, I would love to live there one day.

We had a great day filled with snacking, play-dou, coloring, napping (not me of course), and playing.

Alli and I left Pelham around 2 and went straight to her swim lessons in Hoover. She is so funny because she asks me constantly how long it is until her swim lessons. She really enjoys them. Today when she asked me what time it was, I said 2 and she said oh no we are better hurry, we are gonna be late. Of course we weren't, but she really stresses out about being late.

After I dropped Alli off, I went by and rented Mall Cop. It started out really funny, but by the middle, I had lost interest. I guess I was excited about reading blogs tonight.

So now on to yesterday's post...

I picked Alli up at 7:30 and we came back to Kim's to get Kelley loaded up to take him to St. Vincents for his appointment with the orthopedic surgeon.

After Kelley's appointment, we hung out at Kelley's condo and let him get some clean clothes together to bring to Kim's house with him. After we left his place, we stopped by the Galleria for some Farmer's Basket (veggies). It is one of my favorite places ever...notice the pattern of my favorite places (most of them are eateries). I really do love to eat. After we had lunch, we went to a few stores to waste some time before Alli's swimming lessons at 3. We went to Accessory City...another one of my favorite places, fortunately this place doesn't have food. It is still bad cause they always take my money.

I bought a really cute ring. I will try to remember to post a pic of it tomorrow.

Last night after our long day, we ordered pizza and rented Taken.

Yes, I really like to rent and watch movies.

It was a great movie and I would definitely recommend it.

In 2 days, my good friend Carrie is getting married...wahoo!!

These are pictures from last Thursday when i babysat Halle, Carter, and Cooper. Carter and Cooper cuddled up and took a nap on me while Halle entertained me. It was great fun.

I had a very eventful weekend. Friday I had to babysit baby Indira....yes i have been spelling and pronouncing her name wrong this whole time. It is in-dear-a. After babysitting, Stephen and I went to Helena to stay at my sister's house. Stephen, Eli, and I went to dinner at the Depot and it was amazing. (one of my new faves) Saturday morning, I got started early by going to babysit Indira from 9-1. She smiled at me and I caught it on my camera.

I finished babysitting at 1 and headed to Lake's birthday party in Moody. He is my cousin and he turned 9. He had a fun pool party and here are a few pics.

Lex wasn't able to swim because she busted her chin open last week and had to get 6 stitches. Poor thing.

At 4, I headed to babysit again in Pelham. I babysat Olivia, 3, and Brookes, 11 mo.

Sunday, I had to go babysit Indira from 1-5. As soon as i got finished babysitting, I ran to Target for a few items. I am addicted to Nivea products. Just had to add that in. While shopping in Target, I got a phone call from Stephen saying that he was at the ER. He hurt himself playing flag football. One of my dearest friends, Heather, was at the game because her fiance also plays, so she was able to take him to Brookwood. Immediately I checked out and went up there. Turns out he broke his collarbone.

Here he is at the ER. He was in lots of pain.

It is hard to tell, but his collarbone was poking out and swolen.

Needless to say, he won't be able to work for the next few weeks so along with starting my nanny job this week, I will also be taking care of Stephen. I am kind of excited that he has to depend on me for everything. It feels good to be there for him.

Today I went and got Alli and Ryan. I had planned to take them to the pool today, but decided to stay at Kim's. They like playing with Kim's dog, Malik.
