{VS Fashion Show}

The fashion show was last night and as expected, it was nothing less than amazing!

I look forward to the airing of the fashion show every year and count down the days until it arrives.

I wonder how many times I will watch it in the next month.

I'm not really going to keep count because I'm sure it will be embarrassing.

{Christmas}

I'm loving that we have started learning all about Christmas at school.

I never get sick of Christmas or anything pertaining to the holidays.

Along with teaching about Christmas, we have also started teaching Christmas songs.

Since we no longer have naps in kindergarten, we have started getting together in the hall for music on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  This is such a special time to teach the children traditional holiday songs.

It's so much fun!

 {Beach}I'm loving that I have 1 more day of school and then I am beach bound for the weekend!I am so pumped to spend some time relaxing with friends...hopefully enjoying some nice weather.

I love my Christmas tree...I know I have already shared it on here, but there a few new additions.

The VS hat on top, the candy canes, a few of the bigger ball ornaments, and a very special ornament that I got in an ornament blog exchange.

 This is my sister's Christmas tree in the LR.

I know it's a little blurry.

 And this, my friends, is going to be my tree skirt once I get a chance to make it.

Hopefully before Christmas!

These are my stocking holders, but I don't have mine and Coral's stockings yet.

Yes, I am buying her a stocking to fill with goodies!

{Breaking Dawn}

Girl's night was a succes!

Breaking Dawn was amazing, as expected.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

I also bought the sound track yesterday.  Yes, I have been listening to it on repeat.

I think this might be my favorite song, but it might have a little to do with this video that I found on YouTube.

My mom was a little late jumping on the bandwagon so she just finished reading all of the books and watched the first movie.

I am taking the first 3 DVD's home with me for Thanksgiving so mom and I can have a catch up session.

Hopefully we can find the time to go to see Breaking Dawn.  

I've been trying to figure out a way to go see it again.  #ACCOMPLISHED

{Books}

I finally had time to read and finish this book this weekend.  

I literally read all day Saturday.

I loved it, but I cried like a baby.

Coral kept giving me these concerned looks...it was so sweet.

A few of my friends have read the Stephanie Plum series and highly recommended it.

I was able to download the first 9 from my friend's Kindle. 

 There are 17 available now and the 18th gets released on Tuesday.  

Oh my, can we say I will have my hands full over Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

{Christmas Decor}

I started putting up Christmas stuff this weekend.

I bought a pewter tree from Target and did some whimsical type ornaments.

The pictures really don't do it justice.

I also want to get some more decorations for it, but for now this is what I've got.

{Boots}

I finally got me some new boots.  My favorite pair of camel boots got chewed a bit by precious little Coral.

Yes, I was mad at her, but I really needed a new pair anyways.

I love them and I will probably wear them everyday of my life...until Coral gets a hold of them.

{New York}

While getting out Christmas stuff today, we came across all of my sister's Christmas cards from the past years.  We saw the idea of making a book out of them for the coffee table.

We were organizing them, and I found my Christmas card from last year.

I had just moved to NEW YORK.

I got to thinking about how much I miss NY.

I love being back in Alabama with my family, but miss having my own place.

I miss all of my friends in NY and I miss the life I had for myself while I was there.

Anyways, I am so thankful for the experience that I had, but I am happy to be back home close to my friends and family.

I will plan a visit, freeze my butt off, and then be so thankful to not live there anymore.

It's ok to love Blogging!

It's Thursday!!  We all know what that means.

One of my favorite link ups.

It's ok...

That Coral completely chewed up my retainers.  

And, yes I still wear my retainers or I did before she chewed them up.  

I was so mad at her, but can't blame anyone but my self for leaving them laying around.

She is teething and after the destruction she did to my room this past weekend, I should've learned my lesson.

On a positive note, it was time for new ones and now I have to do it sooner rather than later.

It's ok...

That I have my first official IEP meeting today at 9:45.

Please say a  little prayer for me.

I know it will be fine, but I'm so nervous.

I want everything to go perfectly.

It's ok...

That my car isn't doing so hot.

It gets me to and from work which is AMAZING, but it's got a little shake, rattle, and roll to it.

And when you are talking about your car, that's not such a good thing.

Good news is that it is still putting along and hopefully I will get it checked out over the holidays next week.

Sad news is that I was planning on going to Tuscaloosa for the Bama game this weekend, but my car isn't dependable enough to drive that far.  TOTAL BUMMER!

It's ok...

That some would consider me a teeny bopper because I love TWILIGHT.

I am so pumped for tomorrow night.  Breaking Dawn with the girls!

What else could you ask for?

Maybe that the theater allowed wine...hmm!

If I had to choose between it and Twilight, I absolutely could not.

I know this might not entice everyone, but for those of you that love Twilight...you will love it.

And even if you don't love Twilight, you will love it!

This is a movie that you could drag your significant other to so read up.

I LOVE that I have a girl's night planned for Friday night to see this movie!

The same group of us have seen the past 2...we didn't know what the big hype was about when the first one came out, but we were pretty quick to jump on the bandwagon.

I'm super pumped.

I'm loving that I finished my first official IEP.  I feel so accomplished.

Miscellany Monday

1. Only 14 days until Eclipse comes out...I can't wait to go see it. I even bought a special shirt to wear. You will have to wait and see pictures.

It is definitely safe to say that I am a Twilight addit!!!

2. I have been working so hard on my 101 in 1001. I just can't seem to come up with 101 things...if anyone has any recommendations...I need 19 more things. Thanks!

3. Last, but definitely not least. Can I just say that I am so mad about the Rose ceremony tonight on the Bachelorette?

Jesse VS Kasey

Are you kidding me? Kasey is a wierdo....he got a tattoo!! Call me crazy, but if that doesn't scream psyhco, then I don't know what does. I realize Ali didn't really know about it, but she didn't have chemistry with him and it was obvious on their date. He should NEVER sing again.
Jesse, on the other hand, was quite the charmer. He seemed like such a sweet guy, young, but def. sweet. I felt so bad for me. They had major chemistry on their one-on-one. I am not sure what kind of medicine Ali was taking, but it definitely affected her judgement.
