I attempted a new hair style this weekend.

I have always had  trouble getting my hair to hold curl, but it worked this weekend.

I look forward to being able to do more with my hair now.

Straight hair gets old and very boring!

My little sister, who lives in NC, came to visit for Thanksgiving.

I absolutely loved spending time with her and always try to see her as much as possible when she is here.

I always love spending time with my family on this special day.

My day started at my dad and step mom's house...

Coral got to tag along for all of the festivities as well.

Coral is a hit with everyone and dad, of course, was letting her on the couch which I usually discourage.

I think she is too cute to say no to sometimes.

There are always lots of laughs...

From there I headed to my mom's to have dinner.
Unfortunately, I don't have any more pics on my phone from Thanksgiving, but I'll post some when my sister shares hers with me.

{Black Friday}

Black Friday was spent eating leftovers and being lazy (no shopping for this girl).

I took a nap with these 2 adorables.

I was so behind the times getting a laptop.

I had asked my parents for one when I was in college, but didn't really expect to get one bc I have such a big family.

I knew it was kind of an expensive gift to ask for, but I got it.

I was so excited!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

It's ok that I scheduled a post for Thanksgiving Day!

I am linking up with Neely and Amber for It's OK Thursday.

So let's get started, shall we?

It's ok that I am going to stuff myself stupid today.

My diet starts tomorrow right?

That's what I usually say, but for reals this time.

I gotta look good for the beach.

It's ok that Coral chewed my phone charger to shreds.

Any advice on teaching dogs not to chew would be greatly appreciated.

It's ok that I am not going to step foot in a store on black Friday.  

I do not have the patience for that.

It's ok that I am going to be watching the IRON BOWL with 2 of the biggest Auburn fans alive...my mom and step dad.I hope I don't regret this decision.

It's ok that I have to barricade my Christmas tree every night when I go to sleep so that Coral won't eat it.
It's ok that I went a little overboard with blog/holiday swaps this holiday season.I've already signed up for 3...I can't promise not to do more.

Thanksgiving Traditions

Plenty to be THANKful for:  Thanksgiving Traditions

Thanksgiving is always such a busy day because my siblings and I try to see everyone.

We usually start at my dad and step mom's for an early Thanksgiving lunch.

We leave there and head to my aunt's on my mom's side for a quick visit.

We leave there and head to my mom and step dad's for dinner. 

And then we sometimes all load up and go to my cousin's house for a evening visit.

Every other year changes a little, as my brothers and sisters that are married usually swap up holidays with my family and their in-laws.

I am planning on spending some time at my mom and step dad's this weekend.

Mom and I have some Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse to watch.

I will probably do a lot of reading.

We will eat leftover's for days and probably make a trip to the movies (fingers crossed).

We used to go on Thanksgiving night, but have kind of gotten out of that since we have lots of little ones now.

Our traditions evolve everywhere, but one thing always stays the same.

Quality family time

Well that and the abundance of delicious food.

I'm thankful to live in the 21st century because...

I could get really technical with this, but it's Friday and I just want to keep it simple.

I love that technology has advanced so much that I can do almost everything from my iPhone. The possibilities!!

I love that I never have to go to the bookstore to buy a new book...my kindle and even my kindle app on my phone has made my reading habit so much more convenient. And the fact that you can share accounts with friends is such a nice way to save money.

I love that pinterest was created. Pinterest is my go to for EVERYTHING!
