Sunday we celebrated my niece's 2nd birthday party at A Play Place...Justin def enjoyed himself.

Miscellany Monday

Saturday, I worked out hardcore (I'm still feeling the burn) and then met my family at Oak Mountain State Park petting zoo for some good ole' family fun.

Have I ever bragged on the best nieces and nephews a girl could ask for?

The kids are seriously the best.

We bought some food to feed them and they seriously acted like they had never seen food before.

I was kind of obsessed with this donkey.  It was soo sweet.  :)

Saturday night, I went out to dinner with some friends/family and got lots of Colin love!

My sister and her hubby bought my dinner at Outback and they gave me ice cream on the house.

Sunday, I heard an amazing sermon on relationships at church and then I spent the evening at the CIRCUS!

I'm a little partial to the elephants.  I'm always so amazed by them.

It's been a tradition for me to go to the circus every year for my birthday.
I'm seriously like a kid on Christmas.

Justin had never been and he was pretty impressed to say the least.

After the circus, Justin and I ordered pizza and got Taken 2 on demand.

The first one is seriously one of my favorite movies and the second definitely didn't disappoint.

Loved it!

here are my favorite things that have happened this week.

::Blainey Boo::

My little sister, Blaine, spent the last week with me.

I can't believe how grown up she is getting to be.

She went from 3 to 14 in the blink of an eye.

We spent time chatting, singing very loudly in my car, hiking, eating, and laughing!!

Tuesday night was our last night together before she went back home to NC.

I wanted to do something fun with her so I took her to eat Japanese and to see Rock of Ages.

I just love her!

 ::Babysitting::
I spent Thursday morning watching these precious kiddos.

I always love the time that I get to spend with my nieces and nephews.

 ::My new school::

I finally got to drive to my new school this week.  I picked up my key to my classroom and peaked at my mailbox in the teacher's lounge....I'm official!!

I love the school and love all of my new coworkers.

I think it's going to be a great year.

I adore this couple and I loved every minute of the finale!!!

I spent last night with this little guy...he is at such a fun age right now.

Love him!!

Luke Bryan/Jason Aldean concert.

One of the best concerts that I've ever attended.

 I am so in love with this man...

.and just because I couldn't capture his hotness being in the nose bleed section, I thought I'd share a little collage.

Night on the town.

We started out at Mellow Mushroom...I got a $20 gift certificate for being one of the top walkers in my school's Pedometer Challenge...go me!!!

We also went into a German bar...which was beyond interesting, but I did learn a German phrase that I've totally worn out this weekend.

I'm not sure what happened with the picture on the right, but it was too cute not to share.

Oh yea, my car broke on Saturday. 

Luckily for me, I'm playing mom to help my brother this week with his 3 kids (while his wife is out of town) and I'll be driving my sister-in-law's van.

Yes, I'll be driving a van this week....hold your laughs.

I might also be doing some car shopping.

I hope so anyways!

I can't believe how quickly summer is approaching, but I am so beyond ready for summer to get here!

Zach and I went to ATL for the COLOR RUN on Saturday.

If you have been considering this 5k....consider this your official decision maker.

They just added Birmingham and I plan on doing it again this September.

When the box first opened, pink balloons flew out...
then there was another little flap on the inside that, once lifted, released blue balloons including the It's a Boy one!

We are all so stoked that they will get their little boy.  :)
