What I'm loving Wednesday

{ONE}
I'm loving my updated iPhone. It stopped working this weekend, but after a trip to the Apple store, it's like brand new. Of course I lost all of my pictures, contacts, etc., but I'm just happy it's working again. I also bought a fancy new case.



{TWO}
I'm loving my new wardrobe. I went on a bit of a shopping spree this week and got lots of new stuff to take back to the Bahamas with me.





{THREE}
I'm loving that I got to spend some much-needed bonding time with my beloved, Heather, yesterday. We shopped, ate lunch, and got pedicures.

{FOUR}
I'm loving that I got to go water skiing this weekend.






{FIVE}
I'm loving that I got to come home this week. I had a great time with my family and friends. It was a busy week trying to squeeze everyone in, but I did it.

Miscellany Monday

{ONE}
My trip home has been amazing!! I cannot believe it is coming to an end so soon, but you better believe I am making the most of the time I have.

{TWO}
My sister's baby shower this weekend was a huge success. Baby Colin got hooked up. He is a loved little boy.

I've been enjoying some southern cooking and sweet tea since I've been home. I'm trying to eat all of my favorite foods before I leave. I'm eating Japanese tonight and I'm so excited! Japanese is my favorite!


{FOUR}
My sister gave me a hair wrap this weekend. I haven't had one since I was like 12. Haha.


{FIVE}
I went on a major shopping spree this week. It's hard living in a place where shopping is not a part of my life. Hopefully I got it all out of my system this week. We shall see.

I had an amazing weekend at Atlantis!!! I will have a post telling all about it.

I'm kind of addicted to True Blood. I watched almost all of season 1 yesterday. It's pretty out there, but I like it.

{THREE}

I had fast food yesterday in Nassau and it was disgusting to say the least. Maybe I won't be so tempted to eat it when I go home. I also had a fountain coke which is another guilty pleasure of mine. It was also a disappointment. Hmm maybe it's time to give them both up.

{FOUR}

I'M GOING HOME on Wednesday morning. So excited!

Life

So, I am in need of some encouraging words today.I miss my family and just want to be home with them.
I know I probably *seem* like the happiest person in the world on my blog, but I think having a blog is about sharing your true self with the world. It's therapeutic to write about your feelings right?Don't get me wrong, I am a pretty happy person, but the past couple of weeks have been extremely hard. I have been in sort of a funk...
I miss Alabama.I miss my family.I miss my friends.I miss being able to go to Wal-Mart, Target, or any store for that matter.
I love Harbour Island and I know that I am incredibly lucky to have this experience. I am thankful. I'm just thinking that it might be time for a change. Maybe a change that involves moving back home where I belong.
Who knows what the future holds, but I feel better by letting all of this out.Happy Thursday friends.

What I'm loving Wednesday

I'm loving this little guy and his Mohawk I gave him.

I'm loving Posey's pink toes. I painted then last week and she loves them.

I'm loving that I got to enjoy a night out last night.

I went to dinner with my friend Lindsay and then went to The Rock House for a drink. It's a place that I hadn't been to yet, and it was gorgeous!

I'm loving that I have some exciting things up my sleeve for this weekend/next week. I'm not saying too much because I don't want to jinx myself, but I'll proudly announce it, once it is set in stone. Pray that it all works out how I'd like.

I'm loving that the boys improvised this morning during music group. This is the first one we have had since school got out so no one showed up. Posey was all excited and ready to sing so we recruited her brothers as fill ins. They were happy to help and she was so excited. 2 girls ended up showing up a little late so we eventually let the boys off the hook.

I'm loving my family and friends more then ever these days. I have good and bad days, but I definitely look forward to the day, hopefully sooner rather than later, where we all live in the same state again.

School's out for summer. Friday was the last day of school for the boys. Let the fun begin.

{TWO}

We got a lot of rain this weekend! We really needed it...and it was the good kind of rain. That is the rain that isn't accompanied by lightening and thunder. We made the most of it.

{THREE}

Sunday funday-anything that required effort (from my last post)= a very lazy day of cat naps and reading on the boat...oh, and an accidental sunburn.

{FOUR}

I watched The Tourist last night. I really liked it, but then again I'm rarely disappointed with a Johnny Depp movie. Or an Angelina Jolie movie for that matter.

{FIVE}

I finished Dirty Dancing last night. It was amazing and I absolutely cannot believe that I had never watched it before. This is my favorite quote from the movie and it made me cry like a baby.

Friday faves
