I'm still alive and I promise I will try to blog more. I have had an eventful weekend.

Last week, I was invited to a Cinco de Mayo party. It was so much fun. I got to meet so many people. We had delicious food and a pinata.
Here I am taking my swings.

Saturday night, I got off early and headed out on the boat with some friends to watch the sunset and to do some fishing. It was amazing.

Sunday I headed out on the boat again for a long day of boatin
g, snorkeling, and fishing.
Right as we were getting started, we saw 2 dolphins up close and personal. It was amazing. One of the girls even jumped in to try to get a little closer.
Moving on... We did lots of snorkeling. We saw some amazing fish and a turtle. I even swam with a shark. Not on purpose!!! And believe me, as soon as I noticed I bee lined it back to the boat.
It was hidden in the coral so I didn't notice it right off the bat.

I also swam with a barracuda which was actually even scarier then the shark because he was coming right toward us.

These guys are definitely not known for their friendly nature.
Here are some random pics from the day that I got on my cell.

Relaxing on the boat.

Some of the fish that the boys caught.

The sunset from Ramora Bay, which is my favorite place! It also happens to be the place where everyone that I hang out with keeps their boats.

I am really having dog fever. There are lots of strays, known as potcakes that live on the island. The ones that I know are such sweet and loving dogs. I want one.

Today is my sister, Kim's, birthday!! Happy birthday Kim! I love you!!!
Check out her blog The Street Family

I am really missing my family lately. My sis sent me some pics of the babies this weekend and I get a little choked up knowing that I am so far away and can't just hop in my car to go and see them. It was hard this weekend bc of Mother's Day. I knew everyone was spending great family time together and I was left out. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger. Right?

I was initiated as a real Bahamian yesterday for gutting my first fish. My bracelets now smell really really bad!!
