Miscellany Monday

1. I am playing mommy this week to the 3 youngest kids (1,5, and 7). Mom and dad took the oldest to London for his birthday.

2. I made a cake today in honor of Valentine's Day!! Mmmm

3. I don't always love staying in and being lazy, but this weekend it was all I wanted to do. I just learned that I have all the movie channels, and with my new DVR all hooked up...I was in business.

This movie is called Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas and I highly recommend the book first. It's by James Patterson and it's incredible!!

4. I am going to the beach in 7 days...so exciting!!!

Wee Bit Wednesday

crushed...love it! I am an avid ice chewer!! I used to make a daily trip to Sonic just for the ice.

Not using your blinker and driving too slow in the fast lane.

My bathroom, only because its the only room that's completely decorated at the present time.

Only special ones...not them all.

Over New Years in Harbour Island while watching the sunset.

nope, hardly ever.

{seven} when you’re home, what do you wear on your feet?
I always wear socks, the knee high ones...they're so warm!!

texas hold ‘em...love it!

no, just write in my journal and the ole' blog.

Ive never been to one, but it's on my list of things to do!

Miscellany Monday

1. I enjoyed my trip home so much. I had a jam packed weekend trying to see everyone as much as possible...and I just about did everything I planned on doing. There are a few friends that I didn't get to see, but there is another trip to be had ASAP! I had a blast loving on all of my babies! Meeting Blakely was amazing, of course. Already counting down the days until I come home again.

2. Check out nomorerack.com for amazing daily deals. I bought a pearl bracelet for $6 that was marked down from $94. Today's deals aren't that great, but I'm sure there are good and bad days.

3. I had a 4 hour layover in Baltimore today so I did my nails

I had planned to get a mani and pedi with the girls yesterday, but it was an hour wait so we decided to get yogurt instead.

4. I'm getting ready to start this trilogy.

Has anyone read them?? How are they?

5. I can't wait for the Bachelor and 90210 tonight...yah for DVR!

Snow days & Thankful Thursday

The kids were home from school Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to snow and ice. We all had so much fun at the house. We spent our days

Miscellany & Mingle Monday

1. I'm so excited for The Bachelor and 90210 tonight. I'm even more excited to watch them on my new DvR!! I really hope Michelle goes home...even though I know that won't happen. Reality tv loves drama!

2. I went skiing yesterday only 30 minutes from where I live. It was so much fun and I plan on doing it on a regular basis!



3. I made chicken spaghetti tonight for my work family and 2/3 of the boys actually liked it...success!

4. I met a new friend, Lenka, from Czech Republic. We hung out Saturday night and had so much fun!!

5. We are supposed to get MORE snow. Don't get me wrong, I love snow, but enough's enough. It's supposed to start at 3AM Tuesday morning and end at 7PM on Wednesday. Snow day is to be expected...good thing I got stuff to make rice krispy treats with the kids. Thats at least 20 minutes of entertainment.

5. I'm flying to Bama on Friday! I can't wait to visit my family and friends and I especially can't wait to get my hands on my new niece, Blakely.

Big day

So yesterday was my 25th birthday... Geesh I feel so old. Haha! I am so lucky to work for a family that goes above and beyond to show that they care.

This is the amazing cake that they surprised me with!

My new camera that they got me...I looove it!

They sang happy birthday to me!

And showered me with even more gifts! It's so sweet that the boys even picked out such great gifts for me!

I wasn't feeling 100% yesterday...I'm kind of fighting a cold, but they def made it a very special day for me!!

I woke up this morning feeling much better so I am going to tag along to George's hockey game this afternoon and then maybe do a little celebrating! I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!!

Wordless Wednesday

Almost wordless.

So I am obsessed once again with The Bachelor. I like so many of the girls this season, but these 3 are my leading ladies in no specific order...

Ashley...she reminds me so much of myself. A southern belle living in New York working as a nanny. I think she is so cute, fun, and avoids all the drama, which I LOVE!!

Chantal...She is awesome. I think she will go really far with Brad. She seems to be exactly what he is looking for and she is so much fun.

and Emily...how could you not love her? and her accent? She is absolutely gorgeous and by far the nicest person ever! She does have some baggage, but I think Brad likes her enough to get past it. She is the whole package.

Now, onto my not so favorites. There is only 1 girl that really drives me crazy...I think everyone knows who I am talking about (if you watch the show)

Michelle...she is INSANE! Just waiting for Brad to figure that out.

On another note, Madison was really wierd at first, but finally let her walls down and showed her true self. I really admire Madison for what she did on the show.

So that's my Bachelor update. I can't wait for next week.

This weekend I went to see No Strings Attached and it was perfect.

I have a new obsession with Natalie Portman...go see it!

I laughed and cried so hard...Ashton never lets me down.
