M.I.A.

I know I have been missing.in.action lately, but hopefully I will do better starting now.

1. My sister's and I have started a girl's night/bible study once a week. We started tonight and we are beginning with the basics. I have read parts of Purpose Driven Life before, but never did it in a group so we decided this would be a good starting point. We had an awesome time tonight discussing the first few day's and I can't wait to see what is in store as we get further along.

2. I have been spending lots and lots of time with this little one....and I love it! She is at such a fun age. This picture is from our looooong walk this morning.

3. I finally met this perfect little baby...Samual Larkin. He is so precious!

Gotta love the natural mohawk.

Can I just say that I am counting down the minutes to kickoff Saturday?? ROLL TIDE ROLL.

I will be spending my weekend in Tuscaloosa and I cannot even express how ecstatic I am.

Day 16 is songs that make me cry...

Unfortunately, I am a crier and lots of songs have the potential to make me cry.

Amazing Grace was played at my Grandmother's funeral and it was one of her favorite songs.

It always brings me to tears.

30 Day Blog Journal-Day 15

So today was the day...the day that I parted ways with my birthday balloon from JANUARY.

I thought this thing would never stop singing. I have had it stored away in my closet for months and every time I accidentally bumped it, I had to hear the 2 minute song...

"It's your birthday, have a happy birthday.

Your birthday comes just once a year, so now it's time to cheer."

::Repeat::

As much as I loved the balloon that my sis got me, I had to throw it out today. I was doing some major cleaning and it had to go.

Day 15 is dream home.

Since we are dreaming...

This could quite possibly go on forever, but I will stop here.

30 Day Blog Journal-Day 14

Day 14 is favorite non-fiction book.

The BIBLE is my favorite book, but the only other nonfiction book that I have read was...

This was a required reading for one of my classes and it was an amazing book!!

It is about a special education teacher who dealt with extremely troubled children and this book will change your life. I highly recommend it. I was not much of a reader back in the day when I had to read this, but I couldn't put it down and read it in 2 days.

Day 13 is favorite fiction book.

I obviously can't pick just one, but if I had to pick a favorite author it would be Nicholas Sparks!!

I have been obsessed lately and I am on a mission to read each and every one of his books.

Day 12 is something I am OCD about...

I have become quite the slob lately, but it is so unlike me. I have been living with my sister and her husband since January and because of lack of storage space, my clothes are always everywhere. One thing that hasn't changed is my obsessiveness with my shoes being organized. I cannot stand not having my shoes easily accessible.
I wish I had this closet!! haha XoXo

This past weekend I took a road trip to CiNcInNaTi, oHiO.

During my family beach trip, which I have yet to blog about, I met an amazing family. Our families bonded immediately and it was like we had known each other for years. They invited my brother and I up for an extended vacation and we happily accepted. We drove up last Thursday morning and stayed until Monday. We had an awesome time. Friday night, I got to go to the Rascal Flatts concert...

This picture was taken @ Lake Guntersville when I was there for my best friend's wedding in February. I love this picture. It was such a beautiful weekend with the snow. It isn't often we get snow in Sweet Home Alabama.
