Melissa and I knew each other a tiny bit in high school, but we didn't become good freinds until freshman year of college.  We are best known for our love for mac and cheese, being absolutely crazy together, and having the most fun possible whether we are taking a roadtrip, watching a movie, or vegging out in our pj's.

Top 10 reasons why this girl is one of my very best friends...

She is hilarious...proof below.

She is beautiful inside and out.

We know how to have a good time!

We constantly laugh at ourselves when we are together.

We love the same things....especially mac and cheese!

We scream songs at the top of our lungs...

She inspires me to be a better person.

I can still party like a rockstar...well maybe that's a lie.

I can still pretend...it's fun trying to be 21 again.

Friday night, we had a party to celebrate the opening ceremony for the Olympics.

We clearly love USA.

We made these star shirts with Clorox pens...I think they turned out very cute!

 We made a few last minute decorations and snacks and had a blast!!

Saturday, I roadtripped to Tuscaloosa to visit one of my very best friends' Melissa.

We spent a few hours by the pool, and then had a great night of events...that will have a post of their own tomorrow.  Sunday, we had lunch at Waffle House (always sounds like a better idea than it actually is) and saw Step Up Revolution in 3D (always a good idea).  It was fabulous!!

Another wonderful weekend for the books.

here are my favorite things that have happened this week.

::Blainey Boo::

My little sister, Blaine, spent the last week with me.

I can't believe how grown up she is getting to be.

She went from 3 to 14 in the blink of an eye.

We spent time chatting, singing very loudly in my car, hiking, eating, and laughing!!

Tuesday night was our last night together before she went back home to NC.

I wanted to do something fun with her so I took her to eat Japanese and to see Rock of Ages.

I just love her!

I spent Thursday morning watching these precious kiddos.

I always love the time that I get to spend with my nieces and nephews.

I finally got to drive to my new school this week.  I picked up my key to my classroom and peaked at my mailbox in the teacher's lounge....I'm official!!

I love the school and love all of my new coworkers.

I think it's going to be a great year.

I spent last night with this little guy...he is at such a fun age right now.

{Colin's Party}

This little guy turned 1 on Saturday.  I cannot believe it's been a year.

He is such a bundle of joy.

The theme for the party was whales and I actually designed his invitation.

My sister did most of the other decorations all on her own.

It turned out perfectly.

Hands down, one of my absolute favorite games.

PVC pipe, a frisbee, and some beer.

A few college friends and I played Saturday night and I felt like I was back in college again.

So much fun!

My friend Heather and I went to the dollar theater on Saturday afternoon to see What to Expect When You're Expecting...OMG hilarious!!!

I also watched these other 2 movies this weekend...both were pretty good.

 I can't believe this little guy will be 1 tomorrow.

Heather and I snuck away for a 1 night vacay.  I can't wait to do a recap...seriously the most fun 24 hours ever!!
