Day 1-Thursday August 13th

Roadtrip...who has seen the movie Elizabethtown...

with Orlando Bloom?

We stopped there just bc of the movie!!

We arrived in Indiana around 3:30 and in Indianapolis at 5:30

We all started getting ready and decided to go out for dinner.

Heather, Shelbs, and I together again!!!

The three of us and Shelb's friends, Leslie and Ally, decided to have Mexican!

Aferwards we went back to Shelby's and made Mimosa's.

I had never had Mimosa's before and they were so good!!

We went to Brother's...it was a lot of fun!

Day 2-Friday August 14th

We had lunch here...

I ate this...

Wisconsin Mac and Cheese!! SO GOOD!!

We shopped here...

And toured Carmel where Shelby grew up.

Friday night we all hung out at Shelby's and then went out on the town.

We went out to Brother's for a bit and then to the Red Room to dance.

Day 3-Saturday August 15th

We went to a pool party...

We hung out at the pool party all day Saturday!

We played games and met some of Shelby's friends!

Day 4-August 16th

We woke up just in time to make breakfast at a little cafe called Taste!

It was amazing, but then it was time for me and Heather to get back on the road!!!

8 hours later...

We had such a good time and can't wait to visit Shelby again!!

Wordless Wednesday

I am leaving for Indiana first thing in the morning so I will be MIA for a few days. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Busy Tuesday

So today I woke up at 5:30...ugh!! I had an hour drive ahead of me so I had to leave at 6:30 to be at Taylorville Primary School at 7:30 this morning. I found out last week that if I observed on the first day of school, then I get an extra absence during my internship in the spring. I figured I should take advantage of the offer. I had lots of fun...I observed in Jackie's classroom. She is practically a part of my family. Her and my sister graduated together in Dec 2007 from the same program I am in.

On my way

I left at 3 and headed to get my hair cut at Salon Five01. I have been getting my hair cut there for a couple of years now and I love the girl who cuts my hair. She does an amazing job and is so cheap.

After I got my hair cut, I headed back to Birmingham to babysit Indira.

We had a pretty lazy evening due to the weather (thanks rain).

Wednesday

Babysit Olivia and Brooks from 9 to around 3

Babysit Indira from 4:30 to 8

Pack for Indiana

Get my oil changed

Thursday: Heather and I are leaving for Indiana around 9 to go visit bff Shelby

It is about an 8 hour drive so we should get there around the time Shelbs gets off work

We will be in Indiana until late Sunday or early Monday

(we haven't decided when we are coming back yet)

Next week will be dedicated to getting ready for classes to start on Wednesday!!

I have brought lots of stuff home for the summer, so I have to get everything loaded up and then will probably head back on Monday. Then I am doing some deep deep cleaning! I plan on getting rid of lots of stuff! I then plan on packing my car with a lot of stuff that I won't be needing in Tuscaloosa for the next 6 months bc as of Dec, I plan on being back in Birmingham permanently. You guys keep me in your prayers as I travel a lot over the next week.

Saturday morning I woke up and headed to babysit Indira. I kept her until noon and then went to Kim's to hang out for a bit before I had to babysit again.

Sunday

Sunday, I went to my cousin's wife's baby shower. She is due in 4 weeks with a sweet little girl.

Coop wasn't feeling too well...maybe it was bc he was surrounded by girls!

Since I am done keeping Alli, I got to sleep in a little bit.

I kept LK and Halle for a few hours...we had fun hanging out.
