Wednesday Loves

I am linking up with Little Daisy May for What I'm Loving Wednesday...hurry and join in the fun!

{Halloween}
I'm loving the DIY clown costume that me and my sister put together in 15 minutes.
 I'm loving Coral's ballerina costume...
 And I'm loving these precious little sweets...
Colin stayed home this year and helped mommy and daddy pass out candy.
 Me and the nieces and nephews getting ready to trick or treat.
L to R:  Pirate Carter, Zebra Princess Blakely, Pippy Longstocking Halle, Optimus Price Cooper, Zebra Princess Londyn Kate, and Clown Steph
 I haven't actually trick or treated in years.  Usually my friends and I throw a big Halloween party, but we didn't this year so I was able to spend it with the kiddos.  I love them!

{BFF Reunion}
I'm loving, loving, loving that this weekend will be a college roommate reunion.  Shelbs, on the right, is coming from Chicago to visit.  We are spending Saturday tailgating in Tuscaloosa for the Bama LSU game and I am so excited.  I haven't been to Tuscaloosa since the first game so I am so ready!
 I'm also loving that I will get to see lots of other long lost friends in Tuscaloosa this weekend.

{New Girl}
I'm loving that last night was a new New Girl...I love it!!

{Car}
I'm loving that I should have my car by the end of the week....3 weeks without a car is long enough for me!

I'm also linking up with the Vintage Apple for Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday...

All of my friends know all about this one..

Happy Wednesday lovies...2 more days until the weekend.

Happy Halloween!!

Write random and link up.
{Halloween}
I can't believe Halloween is here.
I love fall for so many reasons, but the holidays and all the festivities that go along with the holidays make it such an amazing season.
I had such a nice, relaxing weekend full of Halloween fun.
Happy Halloween from Coral.

{Video Games}
Relaxing weekends for me usually involve video games.
I LOVE old school nintendo games.
Mario Brothers, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong are my absolute faves.
All of Friday night and a good bit of Saturday and Sunday was spent playing video games.

{Babysitting}
Saturday night I babysat sweet little Indira.
I was her nanny from the time she was born until she was 18 months old.
I quit when I moved to New York, but I always visited her when I was home and now I babysit her on occasion.
 I LOVE this child.

{Movies}
I tried to stick to Halloween movies this weekend, but did watch Horrible Bosses.
HILARIOUS!
 I also watched Rob Zombie's Halloween.
I usually stick to the super PG Coraline type movies, but I usually try to watch at least 1 really scary movie around Halloween.
 I was outnumber by 2 guys so I had to suck it up.  It was actually pretty good.
And back to the PG movies, I watched Hocus Pocus last night.
One of my faves.

{Trick or Treat}
Tonight, I am going trick or treating with my sweet nieces.  They are going dressed as little ballerinas.
Coral is actually going to fit in pretty well with her ballerina outfit.
Can't wait to share pictures tomorrow.
This was taken with a phone so it isn't very good quality.  I will be sure to get some better ones tonight.

Miscellany Monday

Write random and link up.
 {The Best of Me}
This book is amazing...not surprising considering I love ALL of his books.
{Coral}
Coral got some festive accessories this weekend.
She is so stinkin' cute with her Halloween bandana thingy on her!

 {Bama football}
Bama killed Tennessee this weekend.
We had a little get together at my friend's house.
Me and Colin sporting our crimson.
 Me, Coral, and Mandy.
 {Pumpkin Patch}
We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday.
It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed spending time with friends.
 {Pumpkin Carving Party}
Last night, we had a little get together to carve pumpkins and bake pumpkin seeds.
2 of my absolute favorite things about fall.
 I was so proud of my owl.  I did it free handed and only messed up once.
I love owls.
 Our pumpkin seeds....delicious!
 Mine and Kim's final products.

{IOS update}
I finally updated my phone...I think I am going to really enjoy the new stuff.

It's OK

I'm linking up with Neely today....don't miss out!

It's ok....

To be super excited about abc family's 13 nights of halloween.
They play some of my favorites...
Hocus Pocus
Coraline
and some new ones that I haven't seen.

It's also ok that I wish they were playing Disney Channel's Halloweentown...this was one of my favorite Halloween movies growing up.

It's ok...

That I don't have a costume for this year and that I'm not even sure what my plans are for Halloween.
That I have been eating lots of candycorn....it is my favorite fall candy.
That I plan on buying Coral a doggie costume.
That I might go to Boo at the Zoo with no children this year...i'm not scared to admit that I love it and that I don't need to take kids in order to have a good time.

Happy Thursday lovies!!

Living Life

I am sooo behind on blogging.
Last Thursday and Friday was UA's Fall Break so I was busy in Birmingham visiting and had a very eventful weekend.

Thursday I spent the day at Oak Mountain Elementary School. I volunteered in some of the special education classrooms and got a feel for the school. It was awesome. I also ate lunch with a very special little girl, Halle! She is getting so big. She is in 2nd grade. After lunch, I also read a book to her class. She was on cloud 9. After school, I went with Bekah to pick up the other 2 chickadees and I also picked up LK and we all went back to Scott and Bekah's to hang out. Jenn got off work at 6 so she came and picked Lk up and I stayed and had dinner with Scott, Bekah, Halle, Carter, and Cooper. We have pasta shells filled with meat, cheese, and spaghetti sauce. It was sooo good.
Halle at dinner
Carter being silly
And Cooper with the evidence of what he had just eaten...
all over him!!!

Friday I woke up and met Heather at the galleria. We shopped around for bridesmaid shoes and of course found some, but they were all so pricey! We had lunch and shopped some more.
After we finished shopping, we went to Eric's (Heather's fiance's) and did the 30 day shred. We almost died!

Friday night Kelley and I went to eat Mexican (my favorite) and went to see this...

Me and Kelley before we left for the movie
Heather, Sara, and I before the movie
It is obvious that Heather and I had been shopping together...
Black shirts and scarves?!?

Saturday was a very special day for Carter. He turned 4!!!

Me and Carter @ McDonalds for his party

Carter loves his uncle "Kewey"
After Carter's party, we headed to Ethan and Sara's to watch the Bama game!!
ROLL TIDE!!!

Stephen and I relaxing after Bama had won
Me and Sara.
We hung out there all day and after the LSU/FL game, we went here...
Sloss Fright Furnace!!

I don't do well at haunted houses...I barely remember anything because I was tucked in the back of the person in front of me the whole time (sorry Ethan!). Poor Kelley...I practically made him walk on top of me. (I made him stand soo close behind me). The scary people definitely sense fear...they all went straight for me!

Today, Kelley and I were really productive. We cleaned his apartment and did homework most of the day.

Tonight, we made Halloween cookies...they were soo good!

I made this with the left over dough.

We also watched this tonight...
It was really funny, but it also made me do this...

Yes I burnt round number 2 of cookies.
I had a wonderful break from school, but it went by way to fast.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
