Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful that tomorrow is Friday!! This week has been fun-filled, but also very exhausting. Starting this past Monday, after getting off from keeping Alli at 3:30, I go babysit Indira until 7 or 7:30. Here are some pictures from the day at the zoo and keeping Indira.

Carter, Alli, and Halle on the way
LK being beautiful
Bengal...sleepy time

What is wrong with this picture??
Maybe that the 2 year old is pushing the 7 year old.

Lunch time

Friends and cousins
Petting zoo and Alli and Carter are playing in the gravel
Halle and Serena were actually petting/brushing the animals
Bekah was in charge of the squad in the petting zoo....
while I entertained the little monkeys

I don't normally take pictures bc I am at the zoo every other day, but the animals were up and moving so I thought I would take some.
The meerkats were cracking me up....look at them posing!

I know I look gross, but I have embraced the fact that it is impossible to look descent when it is 90 degrees outside!

Big boy Carter had tired legs

3 beautiful girls admiring the beautiful butterflies

Waiting for the sea lion show...not sure what happened to Serena's smile
Headed to baby Indira's
Right after she stopped fussing...the orajel must have kicked in...
back to her happy self!

Blog Hop

Today I decided to post about one of my biggest inspirations in life. It goes right along with my major for those of you who know me. I am so inspired by exceptional individuals. I really learn to appreciate the little things in life from hanging out and spending time with individuals with special needs.

These pictures are from The Best Buddies Halloween Party 2008.

I am involved in an organization at the University of Alabama that pairs college students with individuals with special needs that attend Crossing Points, The University of Alabama’s transition program for students with special needs.

I hope you enjoy the pics.

It was at The Factory...so cool!

Sunday

Worked out= biked 3 miles
Went to Kim and Eli's to grill out and watch Slumdog Millionaire
It was really good!!

Monday

Picked Alli up @ 7:30
Appt for ultrasound @ 9
Back to Kim's to hang out the rest of the day.
I made egg salad sandwiches for lunch...they are one of my favorites!
Took Alli home at 3 and headed to the chiropractor.
Babysat Indira from 4:30 to 8.
As soon as I got to Indira's...we went for a walk.
During our walk...it was so hot!
By the end of our walk, she was out!
After her bath!

After babysitting, I decided to work out and do some reading. I biked 5 1/2 miles while I read Breaking Dawn. I am so close to the end that it is getting harder and harder to put down, but I don't want it to end! Adding in the 1 1/2 mile walk earlier, I walked/biked a total of 7 miles today. Yah for me. I am participating in the 30 day shred that started Aug.1. So far this week, I have done 10 miles!

I also snacked very healthy today...bananas, apples, and water!

I hope everyone had a great Monday!
