was a success as always!

For this particular craft party, jewelry making was a popular theme.

Along with crafts, we try to make new recipes from Pinterest to bring to our parties.
We had some amazing food this time around.
I made little bite-size S'mores that were delicious.

::Relay for Life::

Our Relay for Life event was Friday night.  It was so rewarding seeing all of our hard work come together.  My team had a pretty good turnout and we raised a lot of money.  We had pizza and balloons donated to sell and I had also had T-shirts made.  My sister and I did face painting and we also had cornhole.  Our community raised close to $30,000.

This was a cause near and dear to my particular school because we have had a couple of teachers with cancer this school year and we also have a third grader that had cancer this year.

It was really amazing what this little girl's classmates raised in honor or her.

::School::

I cannot believe that there are only 4 more Monday's of school before summer break.

May will be a busy, busy month.  There is something going on every weekend, including tons of IEP meetins and transition meetings.  I think I can, I think I can.

::Books::

I finished the first 50 Shades of Grey...OMG so good!

Someone instagramed this picture the other day saying that he would make a good Christian Grey and OMG I couldn't agree more.

I started 50 Shades Darker Saturday night.

It's been a crazy, roller coaster of a ride, king of week for me.

My daily Strawberry Uncrustable.

Yes, I like them that much!

I eat lunch every day between 12:20 and 12:40, but I start thinking about my lunch around 10.

Is this just me?

I love that every night this week, I've been in bed by 8 or 9 to read and usually asleep by 9:30 or 10.

I love having an hour or so to read before bed every night.

I really think it helps me to sleep better.

New Girl this week.  OMG I hope that you all watch that show!

It's fantastic and it's pretty much the only show that I sat and watched this week.

It goes very well with my number 4.

I am the team captain of our Relay for Life team at my school.

I am so proud to say that we have raised over $1,500.  My goal was $5,000 but we got a late start and I'm so excited about what we have raised.

Relay For Life - Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.



This year, over 1.4 million Americans will hear the words "You have cancer".

I know too many people who are touched by cancer, and that is why I have joined the American Cancer Society on a mission to save lives and create a world with more birthdays by participating in the Relay For Life in my community.

At Relay For Life we celebrate loved ones who have won their battle against cancer, remember... those who are no longer with us, and fight back against this disease that touches so many. I am determined to make a difference, and I hope you will join me. I will be walking on April 27.

High Five

 It's Friday and I'm not at work.

Yes you read right.  3 day weekend for me.

Let's get on to it, shall we?

High Five-top 5 things from this week.

An afternoon with 2 of my nieces.

Londyn Kate in green and Blakely in blue.

We went to the outdoor mall and they just loved the fountains and they emptied out all of my change in the wishing well.

LK might be the only 3 year old I know that wishes for new Tom's for her birthday.  :)

I bought myself some new Tom's with a gift card that I was given for Christmas.

I also discovered that I fit into kids sizes which makes me very happy.

Cheaper Tom's, people!!

I signed up for a coffee mug swap and I got paired with one of my bloggy bff's,

Jess from Lovely Little Things.
 I was so excited to shop for her and find her the perfect coffee cup.

I received mine this week and I LOVE it!!

Jessica, you know me alright.  I love my new mug.

We had field day at school yesterday.

Fun and crazy, but mostly just craxy.

But we did get these...my fave!

Last night, we had a fabulous girl's night.

We started the night off at a local wine bar for a free beer tasting.

While we were there, we met a woman who blogs for AL.com. 

 She asked if she could take a picture of us...which turned into 45 very maticulous pictures and then asked us a few questions. 

I didn't get one single pic of us girls so I'm kind of stalking her blog to see if I can steal the picture she took of us.

We then went to On Tap for a quick dinner/1 more adult beverage before our midnight movie.

We went to see The Lucky One.

We, Kim (my sis), Candace, and I, had all been anxiously awaiting this movie. 

We all 3 read the book....so amazing for those of you who haven't read it yet. 

And we all know how gorgeous Zac Efron is....I need a man like him in my life.

Wednesday Loves

Per usual, I'm here with my Wednesday loves...

I'm loving that I'm actually making an effort to take real, as in not in a bathroom, outfit pics.

Comfortable, yet stylish is usually what I go for.

I'm loving that I actually took time from my somewhat busy schedule, to sit in silence and {inset sigh} relax while watching the sunset on Sunday for April 15th's Photo A Day.

It's crazy that I don't do that every day.  It's so relaxing and seriously, all I have to do is walk outside my front door.

And yes, I made a photo shoot of it.

I'm loving that we got to enjoy a nice Japanese dinner for Can's bday this past Sunday.

Japanese is my favorite and we had seriosuly been talking about it via email for about a month.

Via Pinterest, I'm loving all of these fun manicures.

I just don't know which one to try first.

I kind of like the idea of making a collage of my pins.  What do you guys think?
